It's our intention to provide our guests with a professional and therapeutic massage. The following policies and procedures serve as a guide for first-time and regular massage guests of Soul Ascension Bodywork.
At Soul Ascension Bodywork, we understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone's life. Unforeseen events such as; car problems, traffic considerations, business meetings, and project deadlines, are just a few reasons why one might consider cancelling a massage appointment.
PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL: Once your session is pre-paid and booked, a medical intake form is automatically sent to the email address you've provided. The purpose of the medical intake form is to collect essential information from new clients. This form includes sections on personal details, medical history, lifestyle factors, and the reason for the visit. Once the intake form has been sent, YOU HAVE UP TO 24 BUSINESS HOURS TO HAVE THE MEDICAL INTAKE FORM FILLED OUT AND COMPLETED. If the intake form is not completed within that timeframe, your scheduled appointment will be canceled and rescheduled for a later time.
ARRIVAL TO YOUR MASSAGE: All sessions have a specific scheduled time slot. An early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If a late arrival is inevitable, your service will be shortened by the amount of minutes you are late in order to keep on schedule. The original treatment time will be charged.
APPOINTMENT INFORMATION: A credit/debit card is required to reserve all appointments. Prepayment is required in order to book an appointment. No shows and appointments cancelled within a 4 hour time frame of the scheduled appointment time will be charged in full for all services booked. All prepayments are non-refundable! ALL Cancellations must be made a minimum of 48 business hours prior to your scheduled appointment and can be rescheduled 1 time within 14 calendar days from the original appointment date. No refunds for cancelled appointments.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY: We understand that situations may occur. Please call us at 980-222-4787 if you're running late. There is a 15 min grace period after start time of scheduled appointment. Any time exceeding 15 mins the appointment will be canceled. Exceeding the 15 min grace period without notification will be marked as a no show. In order to remain on schedule for all of our clients, we may shorten your service time if you are late to your appointment. The regular service price will apply.
INFORMED CONSENT: Prior to each massage session, the treatment plan will be discussed with you. At your first visit with us you will receive a copy of the massage therapy policies and will be asked to sign the consent stating that you have read the information, understand it, and agree to comply with the professional massage therapy policies and procedures. Clients who we have not seen for at least a year will be asked to fill out this form.
